Originally born and raised in a small town in Michigan, Bonnie Ozuna has called Texas home for more than 20 years. She began pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Michigan and graduated from the University of Texas RGV in 2002.

Bonnie started Bonafide Bookkeeping in 2012 with partner Fred Martinez, a bookkeeper with over 20 years of experience. Besides being her partner in this venture, he has mentored her in the field of bookkeeping for many years. She truly enjoys bookkeeping and helping other small business owners. She lives by the belief that kindness, hard work, honesty, and a positive attitude are the keys to success

Bonnie has always had a passion for personal growth and learning. She has experience in many fields including restaurant management, property management, hospitality, wine, and commercial and residential construction.

Bonnie currently resides in Buda, Texas with her husband and two sons. She loves to write, bake, and spend time with her family.
